Floyd’s Formals was originally owned by Floyd Franks, a former football player at Ole Miss who played briefly for the NFL. When his knees got the best of him, he left football and turned his talents elsewhere. In 1973, Franks settled in Hattiesburg and opened up Floyd’s Formals. A decade later, the business was purchased by Kim Bradley who sold it in temporarily in 1996 and repurchased it in 2011.  Bradley still operates the business today along with Taylor Rental, which operates in the same location. Bradley works closely with customers--a point of pride for him--and gives them the one-on-one attention he feels they deserve.
